Tangimoana School is a sole charge country school 38 kilometers west or 25 minutes from Palmerston North, New Zealand. The school role is currently 22 and holding. The school is well resourced and set in pleasant surroundings, with planter boxes, gardens, trees a large field area, playground and a small swimming pool.

The school is part of the Te Kawau cluster of schools and interact regularly in social, cultural, sporting and professional activities. The schools in this cluster are Longburn, Bainesse, Rongotea, Kairanga, Kopane, Glen Orua, Sanson and Taikorea,

The community considered that the school is its center and makes good use of the tennis courts, swimming pool and grounds. The community ensures the school maintains its rural nature by assisting in projects and offering skills and support.
